Dornod Province or Dornod Aimag is the North-Eastern most Mongolia. It borders on the Russian Federation in the North and the Peoples Republic of China in the East and South-East. Neighboring Provinces (Aimags) and Nations are in clockwise direction - Khentii Province in the West, Amur Province ofthe Russian Federation in the North and North-West, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the Peoples Republic of China in the East and South, and finally Sükhbaatar (Sümbaatar) Province of Mongolia to the South-West.
